As one would expect in Somerset, there are a large number of Farmer’s Markets. Apart from the regular events at the Bath & West (see below) Frome is by far the biggest (click on picture).

The Bath and West is a huge show ground where the Bath & West Show takes place each summer - the 2024 Show runs from 30th May-1st June. But there are loads more things almost every weekend through the year and suitable for all the family.

Bath Christmas Market 2024
The Bath Christmas Market is now an annual event that takes Bath by storm - it is enormous and a must for anyone in the area and this year runs 23rd November to 10th December 2024.
Historically there has been over 200 twinkling chalets spread out across the picturesque Georgian streets of Bath selling handmade and local Christmas gifts.
There were plenty of opportunities to soak up the sights, smells and festive ambience of Bath at Christmas. A packed calendar of family friendly events, top restaurants, beautiful architecture and the UK’s only natural thermal day spa, Thermae Bath Spa, ensured that you could enjoy more than a market.
